The European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO) is excited to announce the ECSO Award Finals 2025, a celebration of excellence in European cybersecurity, taking place on 21 & 22 May at Campus The Hague Security Delta (HSD) in The Hague, The Netherlands. This event is organised in collaboration with Women4Cyber Foundation, Accenture, Security Delta (HSD), InnovationQuarter, KPN Ventures, the Municipality of the Hague, and TIN Capital.

This year’s edition will feature the ECSO STARtup Award on 21 May and the ECSO CISO Choice Award on 22 May, each celebrating pioneering achievements in the cybersecurity landscape.

The ECSO STARtup Award focuses on connecting European cybersecurity start-ups with investors, creating opportunities for them to secure funding. Meanwhile, the ECSO CISO Choice Award highlights larger European companies with established solutions and funding, aiming to facilitate their market access. Together, these initiatives showcase and celebrate European cybersecurity excellence, promote locally developed solutions, drive innovation, and stimulate investments in the European cybersecurity market.

About the ECSO STARtup Award

The ECSO STARtup Award has been awarded annually since 2020 to the most promising European cybersecurity start-ups, aiming to provide small European cybersecurity companies with opportunities to gain visibility, investments and business connections at a European level.

The finalists taking part in this year’s competition have been selected throughout 2024 by expert Judging Panels from different European cybersecurity events, including ECSO’s Cyber Investor Days and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre’s (ECCC) Access-2-Finance Matchmaking Events.

These companies will take the stage for one last time to deliver their final pitches. A Judging Panel consisting of experts in the fields of investments, entrepreneurship and the European cybersecurity market will assess their presentations and select one winner.

This is the perfect opportunity for European investors and integrators to discover up-and-coming European cybersecurity companies in a curated setting.

About the ECSO CISO Choice Award

The #ECSOCISOChoiceAward comes back this year for its second edition. It aims to recognise and celebrate the most innovative cybersecurity solution of the year. The competition features larger European cybersecurity companies with existing investments and solutions that are looking for an opportunity to access the market by presenting their innovations in front of an international audience of potential buyers.

This year’s finalists have been selected throughout 2024 by expert Judging Panels from different European cybersecurity events, including ECSO’s Cyber Solution Days and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre’s (ECCC) Access-2-Market Matchmaking Events.

At the 2025 ECSO CISO Choice Award, these finalists will present their most compelling pitches. Their presentations will be carefully evaluated by an expert Judging Panel comprised mostly of European CISOs who, at the end of the day, will select the company with the most promising and innovative cybersecurity solution as a winner.

The Women4Cyber Entrepreneurship Award

This year, the ECSO Award Finals will once again host the announcement of the Women4Cyber Entrepreneurship Award winner. In partnership with ECSO and other key stakeholders, the Women4Cyber Foundation recognises and celebrates women in cybersecurity, as well as companies driving gender equality. The award honours cybersecurity companies (co)-founded by women and/or with at least 30% of women on the board.
